I just use IE, and I NEVER, and I mean NEVER get pop-ups.

Chet, are you suggesting that I actually have to go to online porn sites to get my fill of women...?
In any event, Jor helped me out. Who would ever think that one who knows so little about...well, everything else...would be such an expert with computers...?
My daughter's computer geek friend set us up with Firefox. That took care of the majority of pop ups. He also set up Microsoft's anti-spyware to run every night. It's nailing everything that tries to work into the startup sequence.
Ironically, the only pop-ups I get now are Microsoft warnings of spyware trying to load.
...that would be so much more interesting if it had something to do with me.
